For People In Denver With Lyme Disease

Just a quick blurb to let you all know that the fabulous Lyme disease documentary, Under Our Skin, will be showing in Denver at the Denver Starz FilmCenter on November 6-8th. It's about time that Lyme got some press in Denver!
I will be there, either as an attendee or as part of a panel of Lyme disease experts, so if you have questions about Lyme, come track me down!

Also, on October 17th at 2:00 PM, I will be leading an interactive discussion on how family and friends can support those with Lyme disease. This discussion is based on information from my first book, "The Lyme Disease Survival Guide: Physical, Lifestyle and Emotional Strategies for Healing" and will take place at the Aurora Public Library (Central location).

So if you live in Denver and want to learn more about Lyme, I encourage you to attend either one of these events! More to come....

I know from a friend who has been extremely ill with LD how important your book is. What an incredible accomplishment. Thank you for all your efforts. They are so critically important for so many folks. I don't see a way to contact you other than through this section of your blog. I have a question for you or anyone who might have an answer to this. Do you know of the LD program at Sanoviv? Any positive or negative thoughts/experiences to share for someone who is thinking about going there?
Thanks. My prayers and wish for you for a complete resolution of this horrendous illness that has led you to accomplish something so important for so many. Take care.

Dear Connie,

Somehow I missed this post the first time around! I posted the following comment on your Sept 10th post just to get the information across. Sorry!

Anyway, her is my comment about the movie: Just got back from the movie "Under Our Skin".... it is unbelievable! It is a MUST SEE. I knew most of the info that it was going to present, but wanted to see how far the exposure would go... I'm enraged all over again at the insurance cos, drug cos and the IDSA.

It is criminal what they are doing to the very very small group of Lyme literate doctors. They are gunning for them one by one. It's insane that this has been and continues to go on.

You are doing great work and you are appreciated beyond words.
Peace,
pf

Just wanted you to know I purchased your book right away and am really enjoying it. I have already learned so much and am excited about what I can add to my Lyme treatment protocol. My husband Joel was also diagnosed in June so we are now partners in Lyme and we are making this book part of our path to recovery. So glad you are doing better!!!
God bless

Hi Connie,

I've been reading your blog and researching your work for a couple weeks now, and I just want to say I greatly admire all you've done. I struggled for quite some time before receiving a correct diagnosis for Lyme. But as many of us find, a diagnosis is just the beginning of a whole other journey. Like many of us, I ended up diving into research myself, tring "weird" therapies because they promised relief. And, well, its the off-the-beaten-path therapies that are showing the best results. Keep up the great work; you are a great resource for the Lyme community!
