Food Additives And Neurological Disorders

If you want to keep your brain function, (most of us do) you're going to have to learn a new language besides English in order to decipher the ingredients on food labels. That new language is called Deception, and it will help you to identify the neurotoxic additives that cannot be spotted by plain English alone. No, companies are getting smart, and they're learning to cloak poison in sweet-sounding verbiage so that many are fooled by the actual content of what's in food.

So I'm here to give you your first lesson in the language of food additives. Since MSG, monosodium glutamate, is troublesome for so many, we'll start here.
By the way, MSG falls into a class of neurotoxins called excitotoxins, which cause seizures, abnormal nerve development, neuron destruction, learning problems, and migraines. They are also responsible for a myriad of neuropsychiatric and neurodegenerative disorders, including Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, and ALS.

Okay now, ready? MSG, in the language of Deception, may be called by any one of the following:

Hydrolyzed vegetable protein
Vegetable protein
Textured protein
Hydrolyzed plant protein
Soy protein extract
Caseinate
Yeast extract
Natural flavoring

Yup, you heard right. Natural flavoring. I couldn't have come up with a better translation in the language of Deception myself. We all want what's natural, since natural is good for the body, right? What better way to cloak poison in beauty than to attribute it to vegetables, protein and all things natural.

And don't think that MSG is the only excitotoxin out there. At least seventy-five others have been identified. Rest assured that you will find these in almost all processed foods, so the best way to avoid these toxins, besides learning the language of Deception, is to steer clear of such products.

In the meantime, you might want to find out if someone has compiled an English-Deception dictionary, because eight translations for MSG is an awful lot to memorize. Besides, an additional 2,800 substances are used as food additives, and you never know how many of these are disguised in the language of Deception for the harm that they do to the body.
